Remove the barriers and place a raised pedestrian crossing on the existing pedestrian crossing at Sólgata. The barriers are difficult to navigate for those with bike trailers carrying children. Having a raised pedestrian crossing will require vehicles to reduce their speed as they approach the crossing. Removing the barriers will also simplify snow clearance.
